  • The importance of a morning routine - When I work through a solid and wholesome morning ritual I always feel energized for the day ahead. Simple things like drinking a nourishing smoothie and taking a quick walk with the dog can make all the difference when you have a busy day of planning ahead.
  • Start with a clean slate - Before I begin planning I set a timer for 15 minutes and dump out all thoughts and feelings that are weighing on myself. This includes personal things as well as work and helps me express emotions. Then I can begin my quarterly planning with a clean slate.
  • From “founder” to “CEO” mentality - After making your first six figures, you need to adjust your thinking from being a founder to being a CEO with the purpose of running and growing your business.
  • Gather and review the data - To know what you want to achieve you first have to look at past performance. Review all the key metrics of the past quarter and use these figures to make projections. Then ask yourself what actions are needed to achieve your goals.
  • Don’t complain about your audience - Your audience is a reflection of your own behavior. If you’re not consistently showing up and projecting the right way then you can’t expect to attract an audience that converts.
